Films on Demand Streaming Video Collection now available at Barry

The Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library is pleased to announce the availability of a cutting -edge streaming video collection for use by Barry University students, faculty and staff.  The Films on Demand collectionwith more than 6,000 copyrighted, high-quality educational videos, is now available via the internet incorporating streaming video technology. The growing collection of films is now available 24/7 directly to the classroom, course management system, the desktop, mobile tablets and smart phones.
Streaming video adds a new and exciting dimension to academic learning environments. Many students are “visual” learners and respond very positively to educational media. Films on Demand allow instructors the ability to search and present streamed video in the classroom, or to create student assignments to view targeted video segments. Films on Demand provides Barry University students access to a huge collection of educational videos independent of location, which means that students in Tallahassee have the same instant access to videos as those in Orlando, Miami Shores, or virtually anywhere in the world.
